FAQs

Are tilt deck trailers safe?

Tilt decks remove the need for loading ramps that require positioning so can safely load your cargo from the ground or road quickly and more safely. Our trailers tilt at only 6 degrees when lowered, which is a lot less than most ramps. Whilst a tilt deck trailer may be slightly more expensive than a regular trailer, they save you time and pay for themselves in terms of safety and performance in the long run.

How do you use a tilt deck trailer?

Our sliding tilt deck means that you simply need to lower the deck on a flat surface and then just position your vehicle in the right position for loading. Make sure your vehicle is facing the trailer directly. Then, once onboard and secured, simply operate the winch to raise the tilt deck for transport. If you are unsure about any aspects concerning the use of our tilt deck trailers, please get in touch and we'll be happy to assist.

Are tilt deck trailers better than normal trailers?

This really depends on what you want to tow or transport. For vehicles including heavy machinery, tilt deck trailers are ideal as they have small load angles and don’t require load ramps — making them safer. If you are moving garden waste, slabs, furniture or other items that can’t be pushed or driven onto the ramp, another type of trailer may be more suitable.
